The AL-KO GT 4030 cordless grass trimmer has a wide 30cm cutting path and uses a bump feed head to release the nylon trimming line. New line is released by ‘bumping’ the trimmer head on the ground, no need to stop the machine to re-load.

The AL-KO Energy Flex range of cordless machines are all powered by a single 40v lithium-ion battery. The 4Ah or 5Ah batteries are fully rechargeable and offer all the power of a petrol model but without the exhaust fumes.

Battery operated gardening equipment allows a user the freedom to work around a garden without any trailing electrical cables to cause a problem.

As there’s no mains cable attached to the GT4030 you can go right to the end of gardens and paths and around corners & borders without using an extension cable or stop to re-fuel a petrol tank. Fully charged a 4Ah battery can last 60 minutes.

The EnergyFlex GT 4030 comes complete with a fully loaded head of nylon line. The head pivots so you can also edge along paths and borders for a clean finish. With the battery fitted the grass trimmer weighs only 3.9kg so can be used by most gardeners.

The ALKO GT4030 cordless grass trimmer doesn’t include a battery or charger. These need to be purchased separately.
