The Premium 470 VS-B variable speed 4 in 1 petrol mower is a top of the range mower from AL-KO. Replacing the Highline 477 Vario, the Premium 470 VS-B offers a 46cm (18inch) cutting width and variable speed power drive. Powered by a reliable Briggs & Stratton 650 EXI engine, this mower feature a taller MaxAirFlow steel deck which improves grass collection and helps prevent blockages in the discharge channel. 

4 in 1 mowing function allows the user to choose between collection, rear discharge, side discharge and mulching. Collect the grass clippings in to the EasyClick 70 litre collector with fill level indicator that lets the user know when it needs emptying. Rear discharge ejects the clippings from the back of the mower where they can be left to wilt back naturally. Side discharge ejects cuttings through the side of the mower, leaving them in neat rows as you mow. Mulching is particularly beneficial, especially in hotter, drier conditions. Mulching reduces the cuttings in to tiny pieces and then blows them back on to the lawn where they virtually disappear. These tiny pieces then provide additional nutrients and moisture to the lawn, promoting healthier regrowth. 

7 cutting height positions ranging through 30-80mm can be adjusted with the central spring assisted lever. Start with the highest position and work your way down for the best cut and finish to your lawn.
