The robust AL-KO BM 5001-R II is a powerful petrol driven scythe mower designed to undertake the specialist tasks of cutting back undergrowth and grass in paddocks, orchards and wild meadows.

A scythe lawnmower can cut back grass or thick undergrowth with ease. Hardened long life EMS blades are supplied as standard on the BM 5001-R II and feature edge protection, which prevents the blade from bumping into walls, fences and kerbs meaning the toughest jobs can be handled with ease. The cutting heights are infinitely adjustable and all the AL-KO models have an enclosed drive system.

The vibration-dampening handle of the ALKO BM5001R II can be adjusted to suit the height of the operator helping to reduce fatigue whilst operating.

This model is supplied with a 102 cm cutter as standard. A movable grass deflector means no grass is left on the cover and the grass depositing is improved due to the shorter distance between the wheel and the beam.
